Districts in Tamil Nadu

I was looking at the map of Tamil Nadu, pondering how many districts were there in the beginning. A quick search on the web helped me come up with this. Thought I would record it somewhere for my reference and for everyone.


Tamil Nadu, now has 38 districts from the original 13 when it was formed from Madras State.
